Yukti Eye Wash: A Splash that relaxes your Eyes instantly

Yukti Eye Wash Introduction

The eyes are the sense organ that allows us to see, navigate and understand the world around us. Eyes are the mirror to a person’s mind and most importantly, they are beautiful and attractive features. In Ayurveda, there is a saying, “Sarvindriyo Nayanam Pradhanam” i.e., among all the sense organs – which are eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and skin, Ayurveda gives prime importance to the eyes. Suffering from various eye disorders deteriorates the quality of life, which in turn affects the education, vision, and psychosocial development of the individual.

The time we spend watching TV, writing, using mobile, working on the computer, and reading is the culprit for the decline in eye health. Working in dim light, artificial or bright lighting takes a toll on eye health. Besides this, nutritional deficiencies and stress also lead to various eye diseases. Due to Corona [COVID-19] pandemic, screen time among all age groups increased tremendously and caused a lot of eye issues.

Facts about eyes health:

• Only 1/3rd of people know that eye diseases will steal your eyesight before you notice any kind of symptoms.
• Glaucoma has no warning signs.
• Trouble seeing colors and blurred vision may be a signal of AMD i.e., Age-related macular degeneration.
• Asians are at a higher risk of having the less common types of Glaucoma i.e., normal-tension glaucoma and angular glaucoma.
• Approximately 1/3rd of Americans develop vision-reducing disorders by age of 65.
• Vision loss is related to psychological problems like depression and social isolation too.

With our current lifestyle and especially, due to the pandemic and everything becoming online – people of all age groups have been forced to increase their screen time, which has put their eyes at risk like never before!!!

Some eye disorders are curable, some are not. Emphasis must be given to preventing eye disorders as we all know “Precaution is better than cure”.

And what is better than a product that can help you prevent eye disorders? – A product that can help with both, prevention, and restorative!!!

So, presenting to you the “Yukti Eye Wash” – An Ayurvedic eyewash, that contains the goodness of 4 herbal ingredients used in the purest form that help to keep your eyes in the best health.

Yukti Eye Wash, with the power of 4 wonderful herbs, helps to clear the vision and rejuvenate the eyes by protecting them from different allergic reactions, strain, pollution, dazzling light effect, and various eye disorders without any known side effects. Yukti Eye Wash is a unique, well-researched formula and prepared in the most sterile environment.

Let’s know a little bit more about the ingredient of Yukti Eye Wash – Each 10ml contains per the following –

S.NO PLANT NAME SCIENTIFIC NAME PART USED QUANTITY

2. Haritaki Terminalia chebula Fruits 50mg
3. Bibhitaki Terminalia bellirica Fruits 50mg
4. Gulab jal Rosa centifolia Flower hydrosol q.s.

Yukti eyewash is made up of aqueous extract of Triphala i.e., the combination of three fruits Haritaki, Bhibhitaki, and Amalaki mixed in adequate quantity of rose water (rose hydrosol). This combination works as a miracle for eyes. These three herbs give Chaksusya activity i.e., benefit to eyes by the overall impact of the compound. In combination, these herbs strengthen eye muscles and reduce dryness, irritation, strain, and inflammation of the eyes due to prolonged exposure to electronic devices like computers, mobiles, etc.

Amalaki: Amla i.e., Indian Gooseberry is known as a “superfruit” throughout the world. One Amla consists of as much ascorbic acid (Vit. C) as is present in 20 oranges. A 100gram serving of Amla helps to fight against bacteria and protects the eyes from allergic and infective conjunctivitis. Amalaki also consists of a good quantity of Vit. A, which helps to improve overall eye health and helps to lower the risk of age-related macular degeneration.

It is a good supplement to improve glaucoma, dry eyes (Mucosal xerosis), cataract, and intraocular tension and helps to improve vision. According to Ayurveda, Amalaki enhances AlochakaPitta (The type of Pitta Dosha that governs the eye phenomena). Due to its antioxidant property, it helps in curing degenerative disorders of the eyes and protects the eyes from free radicle damage. Moreover, its anti-inflammatory property helps to reduce eye inflammation. It also gives a cooling and soothing effect to the eyes.

Haritaki: It has got lots of significance in the modern period due to its miraculous power to heal all eye problems. The King of herbs, “Haritaki”, is a nourishing fruit and benefits everyone like mother’s milk does. It is also known as the third eye doctor because it rejuvenates the eyes and is used in the treatment of various eye disorders.

Due to the presence of various bioactive compounds like Vit. C, flavonoids, tannins, ferulic acid, etc., Haritaki possesses extraordinary power of anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral, and antioxidant action that help to cure eye problems like watery eyes, itchy eye, inflamed eyes, dry eyes, conjunctivitis, stye infection, etc.

Bibhataki: ‘Bibhataki’ means the one that keeps away all the diseases. Terminalia bellarica is astringent and sour. Its fruit consists of mannitol, beta-sitosterol gallo tannic acid, thanniligin, gallic acid, due to which it exhibits antioxidant, anti-bacterial, astringent, and anti-microbial activities, and thus helps to cure various eye disorders like progressive myopia, sore eyes, cataract, etc. Besides this, it also acts as a wonder fruit in easing stress. Its anti-histaminic and analgesic properties help to relieve eye allergies and pain.

Gulab: Rosa centifolia, commonly known as “Gulab” is well known for its soothing and cooling effect. It helps to relieve computer eye syndrome and various kinds of strains. The rose water prepared by distillation process, through its active compounds like flavonoids, terpenes, anthocyanin, and phenolic compounds, exhibits analgesic, antioxidant, anti-bacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties which help to manage various ocular diseases.
